Lucky Dip
Students sit in a circle. One student picks a random confidence card and reads it aloud.
– The Challenge:
Everyone must complete or demonstrate the prompt (e.g. Say one thing you’re proud of, Try a power pose, Share a small win).
– Why it works:
Low-pressure, high-impact confidence boosters.
Poster Crew
In small groups, students pick 3–5 confidence cards and design a How We Show Confidence poster for the classroom.
– Outcome:
Student-created displays they are more likely to use and believe in.
– Why it works:
Allows students to tap into their creative thinking to gain confidence.
Match the Moment
Give students scenario cards (e.g. I lost my pencil, Someone pushed in, I feel overwhelmed with work).
Students choose a de-escalation card that best fits the scenario and explain why.
– Extension:
Debate which strategy is most effective and why.

Teach the Teacher
A student becomes the resilience coach!
They choose a card and run a short demonstration or explanation for the class (Here’s how we reset when we’re stuck).
– Why it works:
Reinforces understanding through teaching.

Pass the Strength
Play music. Students pass the cards around.
When the music stops, whoever is holding the deck draws the top card and must:
– describe that strength
– give a real-life example or identify a peer who demonstrates it
– Why it works:
Quick, fun, low pressure.

Action Relay
Set up 3 stations with different strength cards.
Teams rotate through each station doing a mini activity:
– Creativity: invent a new object
– Teamwork: complete a puzzle
– Leadership: give directions for a simple task
– Great for:
